How much does the flight school cost in the Philippines

Get a pilot's license: UL, PPL + ATPL

  • Hello,
I am interested in learning to fly.
Have you ever got a license on the Phil? UL, PPL, ATPL, etc.
If so - where and how much can the fun cost there?
    Thank you ever your answer!

    Greetings A380

  • you can try it there:

But don't think that it's cheaper than anywhere else in the world, flying is expensive everywhere. In addition, you have to master the English language and your ticket is then only valid in the Philippines.

I agree. There are also some flight schools on Mactan. You should also be able to speak English with us, at the latest when you acquire the voice license.

Thats not really correct ... !
It is also generally recognized elsewhere (including Germany)
However, here in Germany you will probably have to take exams from time to time. In addition, this is only possible if you can show a certain minimum number of flying hours.

The Philippine license is basically identical to the US license, which is why it is recognized by the FAA in the USA with practically no restrictions (to fly in the USA with a Phil. License, you only need a certain minimum number of hours and a check flight with a flight instructor !! !)

  • I also found something - unfortunately on luzon:
