What are your daily activities

Share activities with Apple Watch and compete with friends in competitions

You can share your activity rings with your family and friends to increase motivation. Motivate each other to close all three rings, compete against each other in weekly competitions, or let your trainer track your daily progress.

To share activities, you and your friends each need an Apple Watch. When your friends close their rings, complete workouts, or achieve achievements, you can receive notifications of their progress.

  3. Tap the Add button, and enter your friends' contact information, or select friends from the suggested contacts list. You can add up to 40 friends.
  4. After you have selected your friends, tap on "Send". Wait for your friends to accept the invitation.

You can also invite a friend right from your Apple Watch: open the Activity app, swipe to the Share screen, scroll down, then tap Invite a Friend.

When someone invites you to share an activity or to run a contest, a notification appears on your Apple Watch. Tap Accept or Ignore. If you don't receive a notification, you can accept the invitation in the Activity app:

  1. Open the Activity app on iPhone and tap the Share tab.
  2. Tap your profile picture at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Accept or Ignore.

Have a competition with friends

With iOS 12 and watchOS 5, you can invite friends to take part in a 7-day competition. During the competition, each of you can earn points by closing your activity rings. You get one point for every percentage you add to your rings each day, and you can get up to 600 points in a day. A maximum of 4,200 points can therefore be achieved for the whole week.

Whoever has the most points at the end of the competition is the winner. When the competition is over, you will receive an award.
