The colorful Willemstad consists of the two districts Punda and Otrabanda, between which the Queen Emma Bridge spans the strait of Sint Annabai. As a pedestrian you can get the best view of the picturesque from the bridge Handelskade enjoy, a colorful row of houses right on the water. While the pedestrian zone in Punda is completely geared towards the needs of tourists, in Otrabanda you will find the authentic quarter of the locals, where you can shop and eat in small snack bars.
