Why do panty liners give me rashes

About rethinking on the "days" and in between

Hello my dears,

today I dedicate myself to one completely otherTopic that we rarely talk about openly -
Hygiene articles for us women - tampons, panty liners, etc.
Yes, we hardly think about that. Or?
At least that was the case with me until recently.
It goes without saying that we women pick up tampons and sanitary towels or panty liners from the supermarket shelves and don't even think about what they are made of.
We use around 17,000 tampons and sanitary towels in their lives, a considerable amount. Reason enough to take a closer look at it.
Most conventional tampons and pads or panty liners are made from plastics, chemically treated cellulose, highly absorbent polymers, perfumes and other petrochemical materials. Even cotton is bleached.
In the cotton bleaching process, Dioxinreleased - this substance has in turn been linked to cancer and infertility.

formaldehydecomes from the foil with which the tampons are individually wrapped. Also were Pesticide residuesfound from conventional cotton cultivation.
Synthetic chemicals used in fragrant products can disrupt the endocrine system and cause allergic rashes.
"The vagina is a strongly absorbing organ that can easily absorb harmful substances. They reach the bloodstream via the lymph vessels. (Gynecologist Dr. Matthai, in: Woman No. 26/2013)"

In 2008 Öktotest took a close look at numerous tampon manufacturers: only one brand was without defects.

In 2011, panty liners were examined by Stiftung Warentest: Phthalates were found here:
These plasticizers have no place in products that are often worn all day and are - as the competitors show - technically avoidable. (Stiftung Warentest)

These facts made me rethink - not least when you think about the fact that we wash our clothes before use to remove any residue. I can't wash tampons, panty liners and the like beforehand and wear them directly on the most sensitive areas.

Unfortunately, I did not find an alternative in my local drugstore. So I went back to my favorite online shop, the SUPERIO NATURSHOP, to find out about the brand that is offered there Masmideal with: ---> Masmi feminine hygiene products
A huge range of products awaited me there and the arguments for Masmi products convinced me for the practical test:

Why use cotton products?
Cotton is breathable and effectively conducts the liquid inside, guarantees an optimal moisture environment, which reduces the dehydration and does not affect the natural acid balance of the mucous membrane.

And how does it look in practice?
The Masmi tampons and panty liners that I tested are absolutely soft and are in no way inferior to conventional products in terms of handling. The tampons are very well processed and do not dissolve in a pleasant manner. (I had really experienced something like this with tampons that I bought on vacation or just bought on the side from unknown manufacturers.)
The panty liners are also of outstanding quality and super comfortable to wear. I would not have expected that.

So it is worth rethinking, for the sake of our health and our environment!
