First of all: There is no one hundred percent clear definition of the various job titles. Personnel advisor / HR consultant

The job of a personnel consultant / HR consultant is to bring companies and applicants together. For this you are usually employed by a personnel service provider who is looking for suitable applicants on behalf of companies. This ranges from dual students to the new managing director.

Personnel consultants also work in a strongly sales-oriented manner. They usually have to win new customers, on whose behalf they then recruit applicants. So you should be someone who, even after the tenth rejection on the phone, still has the will to continue attracting customers. Another profession after studying human resources management is human resource development. This area covers all measures that serve to promote and educate a company's employees.
