You will own every aspect of the mobile app design. You will work across the entire product life cycle, define product requirements and validate them with customer research. Using a variety of UX methods, you will identify key user challenges and develop innovative and engaging design solutions that will enable customers to love their Blackline app. You will work closely with internal product managers and our software development team in an agile environment.


The successful candidate has at least 4 years of design experience and a degree or diploma in a related field. Your portfolio should show evidence of your entire creative process, from brainstorming to prototyping and iteration to the sophisticated design and product shipped.


Where you can make a difference:

  • Definition of the UX strategy, vision, customer journey and mock-ups for the Blackline mobile app
  • Development of detailed storyboards, concept diagrams, sketches for the user interface, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes

Qualifications required

PROCUREMENT MANAGER - (CALGARY, ALBERTA)

The Procurement Manager reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for leading Blackline's procurement team.   • You are a functional leader who guides and supports a team of 3 supply chain experts. This includes the regular review and balancing of portfolios

  • Working with the materials and production teams to ensure that there are no material bottlenecks in production, that deliveries are properly dimensioned and that the external warehouses are being used.

  • Develop, report and monitor KPIs for the procurement team

  • Manage and report purchase price variances (PPV)
  • BOM status report, advice on end of life, last time buys and material restrictions across all product lines

What we need from you

PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER - NORTH AMERICA - (CALGARY, ALBERTA)

Blackline Safety is looking for a passionate and experienced product marketing manager for its occupational safety business in North America. This position will have direct responsibility for understanding the needs of the market and applications in the region. Identify existing markets that are driving Blackline Safety's growth and transfer the marketing strategies to other areas in the region. You will identify new markets in which Blackline Safety's offering can provide a compelling differentiation from the competition, and investigate improvements to the solution to increase customer safety and productivity for future product releases. You will be the local product management expert for the Blackline Safety solution and will be an important resource for the regional Blackline Safety group.

ESSENTIAL TASKS

  • Overall responsibility for the growth of the market and application development of Blackline Safety solutions in the region
  • Identify new hardware / software functions and solutions for the market and the applications, create prioritized business cases and then convey these requirements to the product management group.
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of the marketing of new products in the region as well as product marketing campaigns in cooperation with the regional marketing communication team.
  • Working with the regional sales team to define forecast targets for new product launches.
