Why do many women like bad men

According to the Koran, women and men are worth the same. They should treat one another with respect and support one another with their different tasks and duties. This is especially true in marriage and in the family.

In the Koran it says exactly:
  • The believing men and the believing women are one another's supporters, they should work for the good and prevent the evil ... (Sura 9, Verse 71)
It is expressly forbidden for a man to command his wife to do anything in everyday life. In their religion, both should remind each other of prayers and other duties.

Nevertheless, in some Muslim countries a particularly large number of women are disadvantaged. There men are the determinants in almost all areas of life. Often they even use violence against their wives to get their opinions across. This happens especially in places where many people hardly go to school or not at all. Because there, in addition to many other disadvantages, many people have no way of reading for themselves how they should live properly according to their religion.

The poor education and way of life has a lot to do with the history of the countries affected before Islam. When Mohammed was alive the situation for women improved, but later deteriorated again.

You can find these sentences in the Koran on the subject of "women and men":
  • The man is the woman "a Garment and let it be a garment to him." (2:187)
  • "... and lives with them (the women) in conjugal fellowship full of kindness. And if you dislike them, you may dislike something in which Allah puts much good." (4:19)
The hadith Bukhari narrates these words of Mohammed:
  • "The most perfect believer is the one of the best disposition, and the best of you are those who are best to their wives".

By the way:
As in Judaism, many Muslim men and women show each other their respect by meeting each other from a distance. For example, some men and women do not shake hands when greeting each other.
