Right click on the start button and select device manager. It worked for me on a P5P43TD A coincidence or not? I have the same question Then I booted to Windows again to try something and the Network adapter started working!

Strangely enough, my computer connects to the Internet just fine from Linux Mint live so it doesn’t seem to be a hardware issue. This thread is locked.

Don’t be scared of Terminal, it is your friend. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. I spent the better part of the day searching for a driver that would work with the built in Atheros ethernet l1s built into my P5KPL-CM and from that searching I noticed plenty of you guys asking the same thing.

I had tried exactly what you suggested. I would suggest you to restart your computer and check if the network drivers gets installed automatically and if you can locate it under Network adapter atherow Device Manager.
Register a new account. Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers attempt to trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. If the issue persists, then I suggest you to do Scan of hardware changes and check if it helps.
